With the permission of the Director, Higher Education Department, Haryana, Panchkula and under the supervision of 12 Haryana NCC Battalion, a unit of boys and girls of the Indian Army (Army Wing) is jointly formed in Government College Israna since 2006. In which the maximum number can be up to 53 during one session, which is completed under three years of curriculum and activities. It is mandatory to include 30% girls in this.

With the permission of the Director, Higher Education Department, Haryana, Panchkula and  KUK 
,A unit of boys and girls of NSS is jointly formed in Government College Israna since 2006. In which the maximum number can be up to 50 during one session, which is completed under two years of curriculum and activities. 

Activities (Regular)

NSS Programmes and Activities in Village/Slum Areas with the help of Voluntary Organisations:

4. National Service Volunteer Scheme:
NSVS work on the pamphlets on youth programmes published by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports & Nehru Yuva Kendra. The stipend, travelling allowance and contingency etc. of NSVS is borne by theconcerned Ministry.
5. Day Camps:
In order to complete 120 hours of NSS regular work, this camp may be organised selectively in consultation with the Principal of the College concerned.
6. Special Camping Programme :
Participate in special camp which is of 7-days’ duration under the following themes:
a) Youth Against Dirt & Disease
b) Youth for Rural Reconstruction
c) Youth for Eco-Development
d) Youth for Mass Literacy
e) Youth for National Integration & Social Harmony
f) Healthy Youth for Healthy India.
