Posted on 01/08/2026
Government College Israna organized a tree plantation programme under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign on 30 July 2026 to promote environmental conservation and pay tribute to mothers. The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. Hari Om, who encouraged everyone to plant and nurture trees as a shared responsibility. Dr. Balinder Gulia (NCC ANO) and Prof. Lavin Dahiya (NSS Programme Officer) also motivated students to actively participate in environmental protection. Faculty members, staff, and students enthusiastically planted saplings across the campus and pledged to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.
