A five-day workshop on women's empowerment, organized under the auspices of the Women's Cell, began today. The workshop was inaugurated by the college's Principal, Mr. Hari Om.
The first day of the workshop focused on "Health and Hygiene." Mukesh Devi and Mrs. Rekha, ANM from Israna Primary Health Center, were the keynote speakers. They informed the students about the importance of personal hygiene. They also shared detailed information on the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures for anemia in women. Furthermore, awareness was raised about menstrual hygiene and misconceptions surrounding it were dispelled.
