Road safety quiz competition

A road safety quiz competition was held today, 15.10.2025, at the Government Postgraduate College, Israna. This competition was organized in all colleges of Panipat district, as per the orders of the Additional Inspector General of Police, Traffic Highways, Karnal. The competition at Israna College was organized by Mr. Dinesh Kumar, in-charge of the Road Safety Committee, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Hariom. 170 students participated in the competition. During the competition, Israna Police Station in-charge Mr. Mahi Pal Singh also visited the college and interacted with the students. Pooja, BA first year, Raunak, B.Sc first year, and Priya, BA second year, won first place in the competition. After the competition, Principal Dr. Hariom addressed the students and advised them to follow traffic rules. He explained the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts and urged them to drive at a reasonable speed. At the end of the program, the program director, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, thanked all the teachers and participating students.
