A special awareness program on financial cybercrime was organized at Government College, Israna.

A special awareness program was organized by Dr. Jaipal Jindal from the Financial Cybercrime Division of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), jointly organized by Dr. Rajbir Singh, Women's Cell Incharge Sushma, and Commerce Society Incharge Poonam Saini, Principal of Israna Government College, Israna. The program was inaugurated by the college's Principal, Mr. Hari Om. The keynote speaker, Dr. Jaipal Jiyal from SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India), shared detailed information on the topic of financial cybercrime. Dr. Jindal introduced students to important concepts such as personal budgeting, financial savings methods, the rising cost of living, and understanding the value of money. He also explained that compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world, which is the foundation of wealth creation. He provided clear guidance on how to avoid various types of financial fraud: Always verify any investment opportunity on the regulator's official website, invest wisely and cautiously, and never make hasty decisions. Most importantly, he advised that if you become a victim of cybercrime, you should immediately file a complaint on the helpline number 1930 using the same phone number used for the fraud, as it is important to avoid any delay in such cases.
