The boys' and girls' teams of Government P.G. College Israna were the winners.

At the state-level inter-college कबड्डी (Kabaddi) competition held at Government P.G. College, Israna, chief guest and social worker Harpal Dhanda appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs, advance their lives through sports, and continue their studies. He emphasized that employment can be secured through both sports and academics. Due to State Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda's official engagements, social worker Harpal Dhanda arrived at Israna College to inaugurate the state-level inter-college Kabaddi competition. Upon his arrival at the college, Principal Hariom and the staff members welcomed Harpal Dhanda with a bouquet. Kurukshetra University's Examination Controller, Ankleshwar Prasad, was also present as a special guest. In a conversation, Examination Controller Ankleshwar Prasad stated that 9 girls' teams and 8 boys' teams are participating in this state-level competition. Israna Government College has earned a good reputation throughout the state in both the fields of education and sports. On this occasion, Sant Rajendra Singh and Baba Dalwinder Singh of Israna Sahib Gurdwara also met the players, encouraged them, and extended their best wishes to all.
