Saraswati River: An Important Heritage of Civilization, Culture, and Vedic Tradition: Dr. Hariom

A quiz competition and a speech competition based on the Saraswati River were successfully organized at the Government Post Graduate College, Israna, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Hariom, jointly by the History Department and the NSS unit, on the occasion of the Saraswati Festival. Principal Dr. Hariom said that the Saraswati River has been an important heritage of Indian civilization, culture, and Vedic tradition. He explained that such educational and cultural events develop historical awareness, general knowledge, logical ability, and a competitive spirit among the students. The program was conducted by Sandeep, Assistant Professor. In the quiz competition, the team of Rashi, Kirti, and Shikha secured the first position, the team of Prateek, Nancy, and Kirti secured the second position, and the team of Aarti, Rachi, and Sapna secured the third position. In the speech competition, Shikha secured the first position, Sapna the second, and Kirti the third. The judging panel comprised Sushma, Dr. Mukesh Chander, and Pooja Jaglan. NSS officer Sunil Kumar, Dr. Sandeep, Dr. Pooja Jaglan, Dr. Mukesh Chandra, Dr. Mukesh Deshwal, and others were present at the event.
