A cleanliness drive was carried out in the college premises under the government-run "Seva Pakhwada" at Government College Israna.

Under the government-sponsored Seva Pakhwada campaign, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Government College, Israna, under the joint aegis of the NSS, NCC, Eco Club, and IQAC, led by Principal Dr. Balinder Gulia. The college campus and the surrounding area were cleaned. All teaching and non-teaching staff, including students, volunteered. The primary objective of this campaign was to raise awareness among students about cleanliness, health, and the environment. During the campaign, students, teachers, and staff worked together to clean the campus and surrounding areas. Awareness programs were also conducted on the importance of a plastic-free life, waste management, and clean habits. This initiative strengthened the sense of discipline, cooperation, and social responsibility within the college community. Everyone pledged to embrace cleanliness not just as a habit but as a form of service, contributing to the realization of the dream of a clean India. National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers made a significant contribution to this campaign. Through this campaign, the volunteers developed a sense of social responsibility among the students and demonstrated that cleanliness is the foundation of life. The active role of the NSS made this program successful and effective. NSS in-charge Sunil Kumar thanked all the staff members, as well as all the volunteers and students for making this campaign a success.
