Youth made aware of the ill effects of drug addiction

Israna (Ved Vashishtha): Under the aegis of the Government Postgraduate College, Israna, a highly emotional and impactful street play was successfully organized as part of the "Drug Free India" campaign, under the aegis of the Drug Free India Committee. The main objective of this event was to make youth aware of the growing dangers of drug addiction and its physical, mental, family, and social consequences. The play, titled "A New Initiative Towards Drug Freedom," poignantly depicted the story of a young man trapped in the trap of drug addiction and his struggle to overcome it. Through their powerful acting, chorus singing, and dialogues, the artists conveyed the message that drug addiction not only destroys the individual but also the entire family and society. They emphasized self-confidence, family support, and proper guidance as the only path to freedom from addiction. In his address, the Principal said that drug addiction is a demon that is devouring the future of our young generation.
