The Inter-College Kabaddi (Women) Championship was successfully held at the Government Postgraduate College, Israna.

The Inter-College Kabaddi (Women) Championship 2025-26 was organized under the aegis of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, at the Government Postgraduate College, Israna. This prestigious tournament was sponsored by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and successfully hosted by the Government PG College, Israna. The championship was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Mahipal, SHO, Israna. He lit the lamp to start the competition and encouraged the players, saying that sports are not only essential for physical health, but also teach important values such as leadership and team spirit.
Five women's kabaddi teams from different colleges participated enthusiastically in this exciting competition and displayed excellent sportsmanship. College Principal, Dr. Hari Om, welcomed all participating teams on the occasion and emphasized the importance of women's education and participation in sports. He stated that the spirit of "feed the daughter, educate the daughter" is further strengthened by women's participation in sports.
After a tough competition, the team from Arya Postgraduate College, Panipat, performed brilliantly and secured first place, while the team from Chaudhary Tau Devi Lal College, Siwah, was runner-up. Other teams also performed exceptionally well.
At the closing ceremony, the chief guest encouraged all players to play fairly and in a disciplined manner.
