Israna, October 16 (Balraj): A program organized at the Government Postgraduate College here to commemorate World Statistics Day aimed to raise awareness among students and faculty about the importance of reliable statistical data for socio-economic development. Organized under the guidance of the Statistics Department, the program was enthusiastically attended by college Principal Dr. Hariom, professors Dr. Mukesh Deswal, Sandeep, Dalbir, Dr. Amit, and a large number of students.
Dr. Amit spoke on topics such as the importance of statistics, its use in formulating government policies, and its impact on our daily lives.
