Five-day workshop on women's empowerment organized

A five-day workshop on women's empowerment was organized on Monday at the Government College, Israna, under the aegis of the Women's Cell. Students participated enthusiastically. The first day of the workshop focused on "Health and Hygiene." Principal Hari Om presided over the program. The Principal informed the students about the importance of personal hygiene. He also shared detailed information on the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of anemia (anemia) in women. He also raised awareness about menstrual hygiene and dispelled misconceptions related to it. This workshop was organized to make women aware of their rights and promote their overall development. Important topics such as HIV/AIDS/TB awareness, leadership and career development, and legal rights will be discussed in the coming days. Mukesh Detri and Rekha, ANM from Israna Primary Health Center, were the keynote speakers for this session.
